KKB 0 Posted October 1, 2010 I have been having pain in my stomach right between my breast, but lower since Monday. I talked to the Dr. office, and they said it sounded like gas. I took GasX and it did seem to help. Over the week it has gotten much worse and now anytime I take a sip of even Water it hurts. I called Dr. and they think it may be a stricture! Has anyone else had this???? I go in Monday for an upper GI and then they will know for sure. I'm 3 weeks today and haven't even started mushies yet! I'm really scared!!!

heathernowak 0 Posted October 1, 2010 I still get that sometimes too. Do you take Prilosec or something? That took care of most of it for me. I hope you get it solved soon :-).
BlackBerryJuice 349 Posted October 1, 2010 It could be also an esophageal spasm. On the upside, if you have a stricture, they should be able to fix it without having to cut you open again - just go through your mouth.
LilMissDiva Irene 3,282 Posted October 2, 2010 Sorry that is foreign to me... what is a stricture?
juliarh 35 Posted October 2, 2010 I had a pain under my right breast and it turned out to be a pulled muscle (who knew?) from when I drove the first time (and who knew you would use stomach muscles driving?) -- it went away after a week or so -- but it scared me at first. My dr. said it was a pulled muscle, but if it lasted longer than 3 days to call. And it didn't . . . I hope you feel better and it's not anything to worry about!
