Normal, yeah, but is there anything you can do to keep from scratching like a fiend?:)

I know exactly what you mean about itchy. I scratch all around the area, but try not to touch were the scab is. I hope the itching gets better.

Okay, ladies, I guess no one is going to answer us. I decided to do what I do for my mosquito bites. I gently run a fingernail in circles around the area (confuses the nerve endings, is my theory) and then put something good and cold on there. Gives me relief for about half an hour or less. Not much time, but it does give me a chance to just sit and not have to distract myself!

I had the same problem and scratching around the area worked best for me, as fatjuicymouse suggested. I also distracted myself. I am 7 weeks out and sometimes they still itch, but not bad. The biggest shock was when the tube scar started to get sucked in like a belly button. I know I will never wear a bikini again, but it was really ugly. I started putting putting Mederma on the scars and they have really faded out and the tube scar is now flat. Whew:w00t:
