Jolanda 23 Posted September 9, 2010 Ok, I'm over 10 months out and officially in the middle of the normal BMI range. I can eat almost anything, except, for some to me unknown reason, mushrooms. I love mushrooms, especially chanterelles, but now when I try to eat food containing them, I immediately get an unpleasant bubbling sensation in my stomach. I know this is a tiny thing, and I'm not complaining. Just interested in what would make mushrooms different? Some chemical reaction I haven't noticed before surgery, as my stomach was so much bigger?

mp8btpc 33 Posted September 9, 2010 Im only one month out and sauteed some up with some other veggies yesterday and I was fine. It is strange and random how some foods react with the tummies and for others nothing.
KathyM 14 Posted September 9, 2010 I don't have any problems with mushrooms, but I seriously can't do pineapple juice - something that I really love. For some reason it doesn't set well with me at all! Weird how some foods do that.
