NewandImproved 0 Posted September 6, 2010 I am 11 days out and am trying to eat some different things on my full liquid diet. It seems like I do well with campbell's Tomato Soup, cream of chicken, broths, etc... Once in awhile I eat something that really causes some pain. For instance, I ordered lunch from Jason's Deli and ordered a cup of tomoto basil Soup yesterday. After two teaspoons, I had to stop due the severe crampy, contraction like pains after swallowing the soup. This has happened once before with something I ate. Does anyone else have this? Is it because my stomach still is healing and just not ready yet? Any input would be greatly appreciated. I hope this will pass eventually and I will beable to enjoy many foods one day in smaller amounts. D
Dickson 3 Posted September 6, 2010 I have found that if I eat one bite too much I will sometimes get that feeling. No fun! I think it could also be type of food sometimes as well. I really don't think there is a set guidline, just somethings make it happen and others don't.
SarahD. 0 Posted September 6, 2010 I have also expereinced the same thing. I think of my tummy as a baby tummy and very sensitive to certain types of food/spices. I am now a little over 2 1/2 months out and I don't have that crampy feeling anymore. What was strange was sometimes it would happen even with something that I ate before. Hang in there, it will get better. How this helps.
