Mjr 1 Posted November 8, 2010 My surgery is coming up on November 10th! I am excited and cannot wait. Good luck! Hi I know I'm pretty early to ask ,but is there anyone getting sleeved in November? I'm traveling 7th Nov having surgery at the OOC with Dr Ortiz and then traveling back the 14th as he wants you to stay until the drain is out. Hoping there are some others out there. Secret Surgery 34 4 Posted November 8, 2010 I'm scheduled with Dr. Alvarez on November 26th and couldn't be more excited. I wish my work schedule would allow me to move it up a couple of weeks. Anyone else going to be there over Thanksgiving? My appointment is Nov. 25th with doctor Aceves. I am very happy. 1 julienick77 reacted to this

LowCho 1 Posted November 10, 2010 Just thought I'd check in ... My surgery was last week and I'm just now starting to feel 1/2 normal. My pain is diminishing a little more every day but the exhaustion is just debilitating. In my whole life, I have never taken naps; however, I've been napping a lot in the last seven days. I have had considerable nausea postop but the doc called in some Zofran & a Scopolamine patch for me and I'm feeling better. I do have a drain that I have to have taken out tomorrow so I'll be able to see the MD for a few moments. In my first week of postop life, I've lost the 12 lbs I gained during hospitalization plus 3 more. So happy to be on the loser's bench with the rest of you! Best wishes to the other Novembers! Susanne 32 Posted November 10, 2010 LowCHO, I am so sorry to hear that. I am the same day and I am feeling pretty good. We seem to have the same stats and I am wondering, why did you have a drain? Good to be a loser, ey
