Lillie24 2 Posted September 4, 2010 #Protein in, I could do a little better on Water but I am getting the min. I haven't been exercising as much as I was before which is showing in how much I am NOT losing right now. I am still losing but not at the rate I was. I think I am losing maybe 1 to 1.5 pounds a week for the last 3 weeks. The most upsetting thing for me is that I don't have the endurance or energy I did. Can anyone help and give some advise? Hi guys... I have been doing really good the last 3 months but I have really had a hard time lately. My energy is down and my labs look ok (not great but ok). AutumnLily 77 Posted September 4, 2010 I wish I could answer but do not know very much. Have you had your Vitamin and mineral levels checked? And maybe you need to up your Protein a bit and make sure you get more Water in.. Thats my best guess. Lily
CraftyChristie 62 Posted September 4, 2010 My labs were great and I was feeling tired too. One theory is that as ketosis sets in (from the high Protein low carb diet) around 3 months, we have more adjustments to go through. The other theory is less exercise = less energy. I went through that and it's hard to get out of because when you feel tired, you don't wanna exercise! But once I got back to it, my energy picked up again! Hope it helps! Lillie24 2 Posted September 4, 2010 Thanks guys. I think I am going to take a few days and boost up the carbs for that time and see if it helps. Once that is done I will start back on the high Protein and the way things should be. We will see what happens.
stcyt 15 Posted September 5, 2010 I get to feeling kind of lethargic sometimes and when that happes I reflect on what I've been eating and I usually come to the conclusion that I'm not eating enough. Particularly not enough carbs. I add some calories and start feeling much better. I hope your strategy works. take care stacey
