BSN Syntha-6 makes a good chocolate Peanut Butter. I've ordered it from Amazon.< /div>

I've just ordered the mochachino and the vanilla Syntha 6..... I really don't think I can get my head around the choc/peanut butter combination... please let us know what its like as the other flavours have been great from BSN.

I love the PVL Peanut Butter chocolate from Netrtion too. It's expensive though, so I usually just use davinchi or torrini sf peanut butter Syrup and add it to my shakes. I don't like the PB2 at all. I think it's really gritty.

OhMyGod, chocolate Peanut Butter is the best flavor combination EVER. It is the perfect blend of savory and sweet, salty sweet. It has what is known as an "Umami" flavor profile. Other foods with umami are chicken Soup and parmesan. Pre-op if I was living in the States, it wasn't unheard of for me to go through a pint of haagen daz choc-pb in a single evening!

Oh god, Reese's... they were my go-to pleasure pre-op. I could go through 2 bags of the minis wrapped in gold foil over a weekend. a Peanut Butter chocolate sugarless low calorie candy needs to be invented IMMEDIATELY!!

I use Fitznutz a powdered Peanut Butter, put it in my chocolate shake and have used it to make Protein squares....also good to make a dipping sauce for chicken.....

I ordered the samples first to try and fell in love....

FitNutz Peanut Butter Mix

I am going to order some samples. I hope it's not gritty like the PB2. That would be great to add to the chocolate Protein shakes, if it doesn't make them gritty the way the PB2 does.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
