Ah, here in the States we call them LBD's for Little Black Dress. An LBD doesn't have to be black tho, it's more the spirit of the garment - miniscule, revealing, shameless.:scared0: I just really want to wear clothes without a lot of fabric to them. How glorious would it be in the summertime to wear a cotton slip dress made of two airy pieces of fabric rather than upholstery?

The real dream isn't just the goal outfit at goal weight, it's goal boobs - I would absolutely LOVE to wear any kind of a tank top without a bra, I can hardly imagine relying on the built in shelf - yoga clothes! They are always in preposterously teensy sizes.

My biggest size was 28W / 3X tops. I was squeezing my big butt in them too.

I lost 50 Lbs all on my own before band surgery. I noticed I was having trouble keeping it off so that's why I looking into WLS. Besides I still needed to lose 130 Lbs!

After banding I got down to 227, and was in size 14 / XL and sometimes L. Those weren't womens sizes either!! It was so nice being able to shop in normal clothing stores and picking out practically anything I wanted. YEAH!!! I hadn't worn that size in over a decade...

Well then the problems started and the weight regain began. I'm back up into 22W / 1X!!! :)

I personally would just be sooo happy to get back into all these clothes in my closet... really. They are so cute and I spent alot on them. It would be nice to be able to wear a shirt and it be more form fitting and I don't feel so self conscious about my huge belly. :sad0:

I'm hoping by this time next year I will be able to wear a cute sundress. Actually any type of dress/skirt and not have sweat run down my legs as they rub together!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
