Hmm.... the only thing I have found doesn't sit well is pork for me, so my love of spare ribs is now out the window!!

I'm 3 weeks out and I have eaten salad and done fine with it. It was nice to be able to eat salad. I had the band before I converted to the sleeve and with the band I could not eat lettuce. So far no problems with it now.

Hi Trouble, I am new to the forum and I am 2 weeks out, I see you say you've had lettuce already. When did u first have something to eat? I've tried baked chicken and I've had no problems with it. I'm just wondering if I'm moving too fast?

Before I had this surgery (which I still call a blessing btw) I used to have a salad everyday for lunch. I love romaine lettuce and grape tomatoes with just about any kind of Protein and other veggies that I'm in the mood for.

I tried a small salad the other week, and I chewed it till it was almost liquid. It made me have the most awful heartburn.

Yet, I can juice veggies, and not have a problem.
