is this a sign i ate to much?

Recommended Posts

there have been a few times after eating that i feel like i need to burp. when i try, i can feel a llittle bit of food come up in the back of my throat. this usually happens 5-10 mins after i'm done eating

i do not vomit - in fact, i have never vomited.

but i'm curious - is this a sign that i ate to much? i do not feel full and i'm not in any pain or discomfort.

has anyone had this happen to them?

Yeah, that happens to me. I think that I am at my limit when that happens. I have never vomited, foamed, slimed etc. I felt queasy once or twice (I think that was due to sugar). I can eat ( a lot more than I thought I would be able to) without difficulty. I really have to make sure I watch volume. My doc said no more than a compact disc at a meal. I try to stick to that.

Yeah, I get that too sometimes... usually it's when I'm out to eat and eating more than I should. That whole "just one more bite" thing, a holdover from the old fat days! Thankfully it passes after a few minutes, but I do associate it with eating too much.

That has happened to me once or twice. My nutritionist said that I must have over done it... AND that to remember that 4 oz is the most we could eat -- so, to try to eat less than that... It is just so hard to gauge what 4 oz is when you are out to eat. Sometimes I over due it and sometimes I don't eat enough and am hungry earlier... How do you all gauge when going out?

That is the feeling I had with my band that I associated with getting a dilated esophagas. I've had that a couple of times with my sleeve and I'm doing everything I can to not let it happen. Your stomach is narrower than your esophagas, you really don't want food backing up there above your stomach. It takes time to learn but I think it's pretty important to learn how to stop before you get to that point. Even on my xrays now you can see my damaged area and it can't be fixed.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
