NtvTxn 1,262 Posted August 2, 2010 I love my sleeve, no regrets, not for one minute. I enjoy eating, just less. No hunger, although I am just now feeling something, maybe I can tell when my tummy is empty. I eat because I need to and because it tastes good. I'd do it again in a heartbeat! No problems, and I haven't tried a food that I can't eat!! I have been taking Biotin since before surgery; I'm hoping since weight loss is slow and steady maybe Hair loss won't be a problem! What is the AG stuff? I haven't heard of it.
Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted August 3, 2010 I don't have a Walgreens here. Do you know who else carried it?
Bit of a Diva 0 Posted August 3, 2010 I appreciate you posting this too. Its great to know even very successful sleevers have a cheat now and then and don't workout like mad. I'm 7 weeks out tomorrow and really wondering when its all going to come together for me. Your post gave me some hope.
possumtrot 2 Posted August 5, 2010 I really appreciate your advice. As I am still adjusting and trying to get my head right to this new stomach I paid for, sometimes I do wonder if this is as good as it gets or if it will get better. I really needed to hear that it does from someone who has been at this much longer.
christina@MIA 12 Posted October 31, 2010 Hello Luck, I know you don't come on here often so I hope you get this. At 3 plus years out how are your lab results? Once you hit goal did you continue to lose weight? I do not want to be real thin so this is a fear of mine. Hope to hear back from you. =)
NtvTxn 1,262 Posted November 19, 2010 Hi Luck, Thanks for posting. I am 14 months out now and am accused of being a naturally skinny person these days LOL. I am so glad you are doing OK, for you and selfishly for me going forward. Jane x Do you get use to being called "skinny" or "thin"??? It is soooo strange to me!! I have NEVER in my life been called either!! I'm not complaining, but it really made me uncomfortable the first few times!

Every now and then a Oh geeze is this the right thing moment happens, but then I remind myself of my back, my knee and Blood pressure and impending diabetes and it then is no a choice, but I have to do this mindset again. Good luck to you Myrori!! I know you'll be successful....it's really inevitiable!!! I had a few of those "Oh geeze, is this the right thing" moments, usually they were at 3 am. Seriously!! I'd wake up and then couldn't go back to sleep for an hour or so. I always KNEW I'd follow through. I made the decision and it wasn't spur of the moment, I was cash pay but did six months worth of obsessive research and followed this forum like a mad woman....and asked a ton of questions....but still, I had fleeting moments! Not for a minute have I regretted it though!! I had no health issues prior, which is WHY I was cash pay, but my cholesterol is even lower, my blood pressure is even lower, my knee that has bothered me since HS is better! I can squat to look at the bottom shelf at the store and get up - I LOVE THAT....and shopping for clothes is FUN for the first time in my life!!!! Enjoy the journey - it's quite a trip!! Thank you NtyTxn, I had one of those very moments at 3am last night too! Except my anxiety is coming out in the form of worrying about money. I am taking a month off and my disability will kick in at 2 weeks and I have the first 2 weeks covered with sick and vacation time, but I get up and worry about "what if there is a lag time between the last check and the disability check, ect ect ect" So tonight it is Benidryl before bed! I will be at the hospital on Tues with bells on! They maybe jingling with all the nervous shaking going on
