LightRain 0 Posted July 27, 2010 I had my surgery on Thursday. I havent had any medication since Saturday. Is it normal for me to still have cloudy thinking? I feel like I'm not functioning like a regular person... Like they took some of my brain matter with my stomach... Is this normal?
SarahD. 0 Posted July 27, 2010 I would say yes to that question. Your body has been through a lot the last few days and is still adjusting to the new tummy, working ALL of the drugs out that were in your system and a lower calorie count. But, you can always call your dr. office and ask. But I know it took a week before I began to feel "human" again. Hang in there! :tongue_smilie:
Maddie 9 Posted July 27, 2010 Anesthesia has a long term effect on you. Not to mention all the other stuff they pumped in you while you were in the hospital. Feeling cloudy is perfectly normal. Just take things easy and trust yourself when it comes to setting a pace.
Globetrotter 1,340 Posted July 27, 2010 I don't remember much of anything from the first 3 days post-op.
