mommaduck 0 Posted June 5, 2006 :help: I was banded march 7th and have had 2 fills for a total fill of 1.5. Everything I read says eat about 1/2 cup of food per meal...that this should fill you up....I know I can eat more than that.....I eat about 3-4 oz of Protein and about a 1/2 cup of veggies.....sometimes a little more......is something wrong........i know i don't have good restriction yet, but even so, should i only be able to eat 1/2 cup! carern2 0 Posted June 6, 2006 try slowing down if you can while you eat. i was eating too fast and eating too much too. i even got baby spoons and that helped some. i have to make myself put the spoon down after each bite. i was also drinking too much that was washing the food out of the pouch too quickly Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
MelodyJ 0 Posted June 8, 2006 Good tip Carrie....I also had to change the way I think (Wheetsin helped me in this)....I quit asking "am I full?".....I ask "am I still hungry?".....big change in my thought process after all these years!!!!!!!!! I fill my 1/2 cup.....then if I'm TRULY hungry then I eat a little more....but make sure it's not head hunger!!!
