Dude, why'd you waste your $ on that scam, just buy some dumbells and do the exercises I mentioned. Here's a pic of my arms from last year at 15 lbs lighter than I am now, to show that my suggestions will actually bring results:

My friend has shaped up hugely..... by pole dancing - its a huge fitness craze over in the UK at the moment, and for the past few years. She used to have bingo wings, but now is very toned indeed.....if I could get to a class in my area then I'd certainly go.

Theres also a new Reebok thing called Jukari Fit to Fly which is based on trapeze work, so a lot of upper body stuff - looks like loads of fun but is only available at Reebok Centres which are few and far between!

OK, I have a confession to make. The shakeweight is lying on the bedroom floor and i don't know where the instructyion CD has gone as the house is like a building site as my dear husband suggested reworking the lounge and our ensuit bathroom 3 months ago and of course they will be finished for Christmas etc etc... Well I didn't pin him down to any specific year, silly me, so it's not but I am assured it will be done by end Jan, yeah, right.

But basically I have not used the shakeweight since the 1st week. I have started kick boxing once a week though and that is helping the arms alot.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
