Papillon 7 Posted July 8, 2010 There was another person on the site (I am sorry I don't remember who) that mentioned using sugar free Torani syrups to kick up their Protein Shakes a notch. AWESOME IDEA!!Here are a few places that are reasonable for purchasing them. Torani Syrup, & Torani Sugar Free $4.95 per 750 ml bottleAmazon has a sample pack of small bottles. http://www.amazon.com/Torani-Variety-Sugar-25-36-Ounce-Bottles/dp/B003PFUNU4/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&s=grocery&qid=1278599900&sr=8-
avilda 2 Posted July 8, 2010 I get mine at Sam's Club. The pricing is comparable to what I can find on the internet.
Papillon 7 Posted July 8, 2010 Cool I never thought of trying sams club.. It looks like Bevmo carries them too. :thumbup1:
mb20mom 9 Posted July 8, 2010 Yep, it's a great way to add flavor. I also use coffee (poured over ice) and mix it with Protein and milk. It makes a great iced coffee drink full of protein!
texashopeful 0 Posted July 8, 2010 I found a website that has all kinds of high Protein recipies that call for this...stuff like cake, ice cream, etc. It is from a lady who had a bariatric procedure done, and has experimented with them. It has great reviews!! Check it out if your are interested! theworldaccordingtoeggface Sounds weird, I know, but great site! Still trying to find the sugar free kind without ordering online. I'll check sam's next!
Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted July 8, 2010 I put them in my plain greek yogurt too. It's great stuff. I have a restaurant supply store here and it's very cheap there.
Papillon 7 Posted July 9, 2010 Definitely good for plain yogurt. I like to use sugar free hazelnut Syrup, with cinnamon, and pumpkin spice.
Nikkeystar 12 Posted July 9, 2010 I love Eggface and all recipes and blogs.
Donna4545 13 Posted July 11, 2010 I am using DaVinci sugar free syrups that I got online. $4.77 for 750 ml bottle, about 50 flavors to choose from. I got mine from supplementwarehouse.com, which is also a good source for Isopure zero carb Protein Powder.< /p>
txaggiemom 0 Posted August 3, 2010 I get mine at World Market. They are a little higher but no shipping and sometimes they put them on sale. They are good for snowcones too.
Papillon 7 Posted August 3, 2010 Bevmo has the larger size bottles for around $7.50 : )
Donna4545 13 Posted August 4, 2010 I use DaVinci sugar free syrups--the large bottles (750 ml) are under $5 at supplement warehouse.com
Lisalu 89 Posted August 4, 2010 Netrition is more (7.49) but only 4.95 for shipping. I'd have to crunch the numbers to see at what quantity supplement warehouse becomes cheaper. How much are they at Sam's club?
Lisalu 89 Posted August 4, 2010 Oops, I lied. Netrition sells DaVinci brand.
Donna4545 13 Posted August 4, 2010 I got a bunch of stuff at once, so I got free shipping--didn't think about that. I like vitacost.com too because they have 4.99 shipping no matter what size order, but they don't carry the syrups.< /p>
