Torani Sugar Free Syrups

Recommended Posts

vitacost has free shipping right now on orders over $79. I love the Oh Yeah peanut butter/choc. Protein bars and I can't live without them. I also get my chewable Calcium citrate there.

Netrition and vitacost are both great because their shipping is 4.99 no matter how much you order.

Free is even better though, and vitacost often does free shipping.

Too bad they don't carry the syrups, but they sure carry everything else!

There was another person on the site (I am sorry I don't remember who) that mentioned using sugar free Torani syrups to kick up their Protein shakes a notch. AWESOME IDEA!!

Here are a few places that are reasonable for purchasing them. :)

Torani Syrup, & Torani sugar free $4.95 per 750 ml bottle

Amazon has a sample pack of small bottles. :001_rolleyes:

Torani variety pack, Sugar Free, 25.36-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 6): Amazon.com: Grocery & Gourmet food

:)

I might've suggested it. I already always used it in my drinks when I went to Starbucks before I had surgery, because of my diabetes issue. Then I discovered I could buy it at the grocery store. They only have five flavors available there, but there might be more. Mine are chocolate, vanilla, hazelnut, caramel, and raspberry. And it is fun to mix 'em around!! It's totally revived my interest in Protein Shakes, which was badly flagging. I even started adding vanilla to the Syntrax nectar "Fuzzy Navel" flavor, and found out that was really amazing.

Another thing I re-discovered is egg flower Soup (like you get at Asian/Chinese restaurants). It tastes totally different from plain old broth, and I found some mixes for it (plain and hot & sour both) at the grocery store, as well, so it's dead-easy to make. It mixes really, really well with unflavored Syntrax Protein supplement, as long as it's only warm, not hot. Turns it kind of creamy.

I'm really looking forward to starting the puree diet, though. I'm running out of clear liquids!

I'd never heard of VitaCost before. I just ordered chewable calcium citrate there too. My regular ones are just too big to swallow whole, and frankly I'd been skimping on them a bit, which of course :001_smile:is bad news over time. This will make life a lot easier. Thank you for that information!

Yeah, vitacost is great. They will start sending you emails with all the sales now if you gave them your email address.

They have everything you can think of from Biotin Shampoo, any type of Vitamin or supplement you can think of, cleaning products, face creams, the list goes on and on. Make sure you get a catalog.

I get my bsn lean dessert fudge pudding Protein shake there, and mix it with the banana cream pudding, as well as my Oh Yeah, peaunut butter chocolate Protein Bars . Yum Yum! BSN comes in all sorts of flavors and so do the oh yeah bars. 4.99 shipping no matter how much you order, although it's free shipping right now!

I just got my Vitacost chewable calcium citrate supplements over the weekend. They are SOOO much better than swallowing those horse pills I was taking before! They don't taste all that great, but I don't feel like I tried to swallow a baseball anymore, either. All around, it's a major improvement. :)

yeah, I am not really crazy about the taste, but they are not unbearable. I just drink some Water after I chew a couple of them up. I finally read the bottle and it takes 2 to make up the 500 mg. You're supposed to take 500 mg 3 times a day , 2 hours apart.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
