future husband question

Recommended Posts

Hello Everyone!!!

My name is Joy and I am considering the VSG procedure. I have a question that may seem pretty deep, but here it is... Do any of you believe that God would show you who your future husband is if he's not ready. By not ready i mean out there doing things that he shouldn't and not serving God as he should. Just wondering

wow... that is a deep one for this site...lol.. i personal think that god NEVER gives you more then you can handle....but i also know that people can in and out of ur live for a reason not all are good and not all are bad...but you take a lil bit of what everyone has to often and thats what makes you a stronger person you find what i like and what u dont like ... what u willl deal with and what u wont deal with ....sooo with that said...would he bring you ur husband if he was not ready....answer...if he is not doing right maybe god didnt send him for that reason.....always make sure you are always happy with that person and if they are not doing right from the start then im sure they wont do right in the end....good luck

I do believe that God puts people in our paths. But, I think sometimes when people, particularly men, are put in our paths, we see it as we are supposed to "save them" or "guide them" to God.

Witnessing is one thing, putting yourself in the line of fire of temptation, and environments that are not conducive to your spiritual beliefs is not only dangerous, but spiritually unhealthy.

I believe God will tell us and show us the things that we need to know and can handle. Some people dont do well with prophecy due to impatience and lack of faith. So I say wait on the Lord and pray that you will be willing to accept what he has in store on your life.

I believe when it's truly a God thing...God will show BOTH of you. God wants the very best for you! He came so that we can have life and life more abundantly! One scripture I have lived by is "seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and ALL THESE THINGS shall be added unto you." I have put God first in my life since a young age. God gave me a wonderful husband, married 20 years this October and 2 beautiful kids (18 and 13). Put God first, He will order your steps and lead you to the right person. Acknowledge the Lord in ALL YOUR WAYS and HE will direct your path :-)

I believe you could be totally right, but whats the point. He's not "ready". You are wasting your time, maybe God is the one telling you he isn't ready and you should move on.

The minute you believe you don't deserve the best, you will never get it. Believe in yourself and wait until someone comes along that is perfect. Well close to perfect, because no one is perfect. I waited until I was 32 to finally find my wife, who is the first and only wife I will ever have, because she is so perfect for me that no one else would do well in comparison.

Marriage is the most highly regarded relationship in the Bible. This is why Christ likens his relationship to the church to marriage. This is also the reason why marriages are so much under attack. In saying all that..........You cannot say God showed you your husband, marry him and then tell me you are getting divorced. What God has put together let no man put asunder. Marriage is honorable in all and the bed undefiled but a whoremonger God will judge. Then, Jesus said.....Moses out of the hardness of your hearts permitted divorce.....which means we have a problem with forgiveness.

When you marry, you become one in the sight of God. The physical part of that is....when you partake of a man, you take on his spirits.(remember the woman at the well) This is the reason why you must be sure that any man you marry is consecrated and you actually see that he is bearing the fruit of the spirit.........love, joy, peace, longsuffering.....These are the things that are a sign that he will obey the Word of God and love you as Christ loves the church.

And that.........is my sermon for the day :Dancing_biggrin:

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
