NewNewMe 277 Posted June 4, 2006 I was wondering if there is anyone out there who lost greater than 200 lbs with the band. If so, how long did it take?
Carlene 12 Posted June 4, 2006 I didn't have 200 pounds to lose, but there is a woman in my real time support group who lost 210 pounds 6 or 7 years ago (USDA trials). PM me if you want pictures of her before and after. She looks great, but she's also had a LOT of plastic surgery.

vinesqueen 2 Posted June 5, 2006 My husband has lost more than 200 pounds. I'm not sure what he's at right now because he hasn't been in to weigh. He started at 600 pounds, and I swear that he's about 385 now.
GayleTX 1 Posted June 5, 2006 RaeK.......your Ticker tape has just almost exactly the same numbers on it as mine at this point. Sure seems like a long haul to the right end of the tape, doesn't it! But I figure I'll be the same age two years from now whether I'm fat or thin, so might as well get there thin! And maybe when I get there, I'll be wearing dancing shoes and not orthopedic lace-ups!! NewNewMe 277 Posted June 6, 2006 Thanks PhotoNut that was encouraging. Wow vinesqueen, your husband is doing great. He must feel like a totally different person. Thanks Gayle, your right. Time will continue to move on, and hopefully my weight will continue to move down at the same time.
