lillita 18 Posted June 30, 2010 HI everyone. I am still in the hospital and everything went really well (thank you for the well wishes:) ) from pre-op to post-op everything has been awesome. I didn't have to have a drainage tube or catheter. I am awaiting my upper GI this morning. I didn't realize that I wasn't able to eat anything yesterday but miraculously enough, I wasn't hungry!! Anyways, as with everyone, I am very gassy. I started walking an hour after surgery but I have HICCUPS!! Did anyone experience this? They go away but they are really frustrating.... SParkle 4 Posted June 30, 2010 Firstly, congrats on your surgery..... I didn't get hiccups, but I was very gassy - both up and down and inbetween! lol If you can sip Water than try drinking from the wrong side of the glass, upside down, if not too painful..... it always works for me. mellifrits 25 Posted August 12, 2010 I had the hiccups a little at first BUT now I get them when I'm full. It is my sign to stop eating.
