Morgandobes 0 Posted June 26, 2010 Hi Guys I was sleeved last wednesday. Today I am on Clear liquids, and I was wondering..should I be feeling satiety on Jello? I just ate one of those small jellos that you can pick up in a eight pack at the store and cant really tell if it did anything for my fullness factor. Not sure if the discomfort from the surgery is blocking any 'fullness' feelings, or if the Jello just liquifies to the point where it might as well be kool-aid. tia, Lisa
brittu 42 Posted June 27, 2010 Jello makes me full (as does warm thicker soup). But I didn't have Jello until about 6 days after surgery so I'm not sure if it would have felt the same early on. I had two tablespoons of thin guacamole tonight for dinner and felt like I'd just had Thanksgiving dinner. Between that and never feeling hungry I' super happy with the sleeve so far. Tiffykins 673 Posted June 27, 2010 A lot of people do not have a "full signal" because the stomach nerves have been severed, and liquids pretty much just slip through. I didn't get a true "full" feeling until fuller liquids like yogurt/cream soups/pudding. Mushies I got major full feelings.

I did try some hot and sour Soup minus the 'stuff' that definitely did fill me up because of the thicker consistency maybe? It was nice to feel full.
