truckinmama 0 Posted June 3, 2006 I am having trouble with my Vitamins. I have a liquid multi and a liquid B from GNC and they seem to shall I say- move through my system quickly.:speechles I had the clerk help me, but I think she thought I had bi-pass surgery. Does anyone have this problem? Can you recommend and alternate brand or dosage for bandsters?

nursenora16 0 Posted June 3, 2006 Viactiv- they have a Multivitamin and Calcium supplement both in soft chocolate chews. I love them! I'm not great at taking Vitamins but these are like a treat.
3loves 0 Posted June 3, 2006 I use the Flinstones and the Viactiv Calcium. Here's a thread from a short time ago with some good info on the subject: http://www.lapbandtalk.com/showthread.php?t=17627&highlight=vitamins Tricia pointed out to me that the Viactiv Multi-Vitamin does not contain Iron. I contacted the company and they are considering a new formula. We'll see what happens. I will probably buy the Centrum as I've heard many say on LBT they are better tasting than the Flinstones. I share my Flinstones with my boys, so we will probably go through them in no time.

pugmum 0 Posted June 3, 2006 I take Nature's Plus multi liquid Vitamin which I buy at a health food store. I find the quality is better than GNC. I also take liquid Vitamin B-complex and liquid calcium/magnesium. Hope you find one that works! Kelli

LapBandit 5 Posted June 4, 2006 Centrum chewables for me too! I also take a "B Complex Blend" that includes Vitamin C and the B's plus chewable Caltrate. That better be enough to keep me healthy!!
NewNewMe 277 Posted June 4, 2006 I see a lot of people are taking Flintstones. I am also. I have been taking 2 a day. How many is everyone taking? I just decided to take two, not because I was told to do that. But I don't know if I am taking enough. Thanks,
disneynut 0 Posted June 4, 2006 Rae, I'm only taking one Flinstones chewable a day. The instructions say that one Vitamin gives you 100% of most of the essential Vitamins you need per day.
