Changing profile pic

I cannot seem to change my profile pic. I downloaded a new one. It shows the new pic on my profile page. I even deleted the old one out of my album. When I post a thread, my old profile pic is still showing. Any suggestions?

To change the picture that shows up in your posts, you need to go to your user control panel and edit your avatar. The avatar is what shows up in posts. Let me know if you need any additional help.

Thanks, Susan! I was trying to change my profile pic instead of avatar. Didn't even look for change avatar. Now I know!

Okay, I have tried to change my picture by clicking on the change button ON the picture and it will allow me to upload the picture, but the change doesn't stay and I can't figure out how to save that.

I've also tried going through settings and clicking on the change photo button and uploading the photo, but that doesn't change my picture that appears on my profile and my posts either.

I have searched several times and read all of the instructions others have given, but I cannot figure this out. Will someone please help me? Thank you!

Hi! I'm new and am having the same issue. I uploaded a picture with my sister in it, hoping I could crop her out. That didn't work so I deleted that one and uploaded one of my self. After it uploaded, I clicked on "done" and it appeared to have changed. But the picture with my sister continues to show. Please tell me what I am doing wrong. I would really like to add just the photo of myself.
