Catyroses 1 Posted June 13, 2010 Has anyone tried these? The regular bagged kind are so dry and bland . . . But I really need something to crunch!
SParkle 4 Posted June 18, 2010 Am I right in thinking these are literally pork rind, what in the UK you call pork scratching? Surely these are just nearly 100% fat?? Having avoided stuff like this for the past 20 yrs it would take a miracle to get me to eat it now..... sometimes this sleeve stuff really plays with your head!! Catyroses 1 Posted June 18, 2010 Kathy, on other threads on this site people talk about Pork rinds as a good choice of snack because they are crunchy - satisfies that "need" - and chock full of Protein. A half an ounce, which is a lot in my new view of such things, has 5 grams of fat and 9 grams of protein.
