Did my tiny stomach growl or was that my imagination???

Recommended Posts

Hi there everyone, I was just wondering if anyone had the feeling that their stomach growled after the surgery...I am sure that I have felt and heard it growl...is this normal? I am still on the clear liquid diet, anyone else have this feeling after and hopefully went away? I thought that removing that hormone that I would not feel hungary anymore, but it seems like I am hungary...please help if anyone has experience with this and any advice....Thank you so much!:D:confused1::)

I had my surgery on Thursday, June 10th. My tummy really started talking today. I think it might be my intestines starting to work again:thumbup:

My tiny tummy has been very vocal! I had surgery on 6/8 and it started rumbling the next day. I tried Protein Shakes today for the first time and they went right through me (TMI). I am sorta hungry, but not overwhelmingly so.

Mine is SO verbal!!

Its weird as well the trail of bubbles I can feel when I take a sip, having to wait for them to rise before the next one - I couldn't rush the sips if I wanted to!!

I had my surgery on March 18 and my stomach growled plenty. I did and still do get hungry but not as bad as before surgery. I think it gets easier and more easy to manage with a couple months away from surgery when you are adjusted to the new you. It can take a bit of time so don't panic. I still have hunger but when I eat, I fill up fast and with a really small amount of food.< /p>

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
