jjj 1 Posted June 2, 2010 Should I go ahead and shave my chest and belly before surgery? I've had EKG's before and pulling them off can be hell with chest hair like mine. Thanks guys!
Jachut 487 Posted June 3, 2010 Trouble is if you shave it'll be growing back almost immediately. Have you thought about getting waxed? There's the embarrassment factor, of course, but the hairgrowth would probably be slow enough that you're not pulling all the dressings and stuff off regrown hair. M_Bigga_M 0 Posted June 3, 2010 You can shave it if you want but they will shave it again before surgery...

ouroborous 519 Posted June 4, 2010 Howdy, neighbor! Don't worry, they'll shave you at the OR. I woke up smooth as a baby's bottom...
Gettinghealthy 0 Posted October 11, 2010 I Shaved all my chest . I just didn't want to deal with it. Just know it will itch when it grows back. Good luck.
Rootman 1,101 Posted December 22, 2010 Boy what's killing me is the belly hair they shaved just before the operation! It's now growing back and is stubbly, rubs on my shirt and makes the whole belly irritated, not to speak of pulling the dressings off twice a day and yanking the stubby hairs out! Never new I was so fuzzy down there!
