ouroborous 519 Posted May 21, 2010 Congratulations! Focus on your liquids, keep walking, and take your pain meds as needed. That's what they're there for!

mommaof4yoopers 3 Posted May 22, 2010 Hooray, good for you! It took me awhile to get all the fluids in as well, don't worry it will come!
agives130 0 Posted May 22, 2010 Congrats on your sleeve! Don't worry about the liquids, your sleeve will relax and you will get them in. I'm just 3 weeks out and I can drink 4-8 ounces at a pretty normal rate now. Right after surgery it was only a sip or two every half an hour.
CraftyChristie 62 Posted May 22, 2010 What pain meds are you on and are they working for you? I'm on oxycodone but it doesn't seem to help much!
mhopkins72 0 Posted May 22, 2010 Congrat! Just keep at it, you will be able to take more in before long. If you drink to fast, you will start burping or get the hiccups! It is kinda weird how your body gives you signals.
escapesunshine 0 Posted May 22, 2010 They gave me Hydrocodone bitartrate with acetaminnophen but said to try not to use it. I tried it but can not stand how it taste so I have been taking liquid audlt tylenol.
