breezy 8 Posted May 11, 2010 I've lost 25 lbs; my one month mark is May the 12th. I still haven't had time to mess with putting the ticker on my signature, but I'm hoping I have more free time soon. I really have not had any significant problems. A little heartburn last night. Still can't eat much, but my relationship with food has changed so dramatically. I eat to nourish myself, not for comfort. I don't have hunger pangs/growly tummy at all. Does that come back? The hunger pangs, I mean? I'm challenged to drink enough fluids because I can only take a few sips at a time, then I put it down and forget about it. But I try to have fluids next to me at all times. I'm off my cpap machine! That is a big "hooray"! No snoring or sleep apnea. I have a few energy problems, but I just try to rest when I can. I'm overwhelmed with things that have to be done, but I make lists and try to put out the fires first, and anything that can wait, does. My mood is good. Everyone in my inner-circle has been very supportive, and my co-workers cheer me on as my clothes get baggier! Thanks for asking. It kind of made me glow inside that you are checking in on me. So nice of you....

So nice of you.... How totally excellent is that! 25 lbs! and off the CPAP. . .now if that isn't the best news i don't know what is! Congratulations As far as the hunger pangs go I've had them since day 1, but what i've done is get used to it. . I'm sorta a control freak when it comes to myself, so I have said that "I'm in total control and not my tummy" . . . so if it growls here and there I either ignore it or just throw some crystal lite down there and carry on:lol0: Some of the folks on this forum never have had the growlies come back. . .that is good, maybe you'll be one of them. . . You'll get used to drinking the fluids, in the beginning it was a challenge for me too, but now at 5 months out that is mostly what i want to do, is to drink drink and drink more. . . mostly crystal lite and plain Water. . . yes the coworkers are a good support team too. . .and your family. . good for you! :w00t: My coworkers call me "flacka" in spanish that means skinny! :lol0: NOT!!!!! Long from that. . . but if it makes 'em happy that is good. . . most of my coworkers are quite obese and my losing weight has given them a bit of an incentive to diet. . . poor souls. . . if they only knew:biggrin0:. . well honey, i'm here for you anytime! I won't let you down. . .I'll be your friend/mentor for as long as you want! Keep up the excellent work and keep doing what your doing, it's working excellently!!!!!:lol0:
