Can.sleeved 1 Posted April 19, 2010 (edited) my husband and I got sleeved the same day. He has been a 100% positive right from the beginning. So I have my own built in support system at home. I think for my self there has been more of a range of feelings. But over all it is wonderful to be free from the slavery of food, we are only one month out and are still adjusting to the new life style. I wanted to find out if other woman found them selves having a problem waking up in the middle of the night for no reason, just laying there wanting to sleep Ha Ha!! wannalise 16 Posted April 21, 2010 I absolutely did the first few weeks. And I am typically a stellar sleeper. It came back around and I am feeling much better!
MINI-Me 196 Posted April 21, 2010 I've always had issues sleeping so really no difference for me. I was kinda hoping it would help me sleep - I thought maybe excess fat on my body was making me uncomfortable & waking me up. No such luck.
ouroborous 519 Posted April 21, 2010 I can't say this enough: the best thing in the world to help you get to sleep, and stay asleep, is regular, vigorous exercise. Not right before bed, and it's not a 100% cure-all, but in general exercise is the BEST thing for sleep.

Hi there. . . after i was sleeved i had all sorts of different sleeping habits. . couldn't fall asleep, couldn't stay asleep, hated to go to bed, needed to go to bed. . couldn't sleep enough. . . it was horrible. . so i made a routine. . made darn sure i was in bed by 10pm, drugged myself with either benedryl, or nyquil or tylenol pm and made dang sure i got to sleep. . .now i get sleepy by 9:30pm go take my shower, head for bed and sleep like the dead until 5:52am every day (i get up at 6 am) . . . so you eventually get back to routine, but you have to train yourself to do it too. . . good luck. . .
