JeepChick 0 Posted April 18, 2010 (edited) Whenever I go out to eat I try to be careful about what I order, but sometimes I just really want something that I won't be able to eat the whole plate - or even half. Not many people are open to sharing meals with me so I have gotten used to spending 15 dollars for about a cup of food. Everyone loves eating off of my plate and eating my leftovers, though! The waiters get annoyed with me when I don't want a drink with my meal, they must think I am so cheap!!! I am down 45 pounds today. It's been 3 months and I was hoping to have lost more, I know I am still losing. It was so great to wear shorts and bathing suits on my Spring Break trip to the Philippines. Edited April 18, 2010 by JeepChick It's been 3 months, not 4. I can't count.
pnw218 14 Posted April 18, 2010 Congrats on your progress so far! Your photos look great! I am a little frustrated at the moment also; I was hoping to be over the 30 lb mark by now. I also know that I wouldn't have been this far along if I had not done the surgery. It is a standing joke now in our house about how much I can (or can't) eat. And they are so much more willing to let me have a bite of something they have - cause they truly know it will only be ONE bite! : ) Keep up the great work! Phatcurves 3 Posted April 18, 2010 Do you find it hard to not drink with your meals? I am a big Water drinker at all times of the day and I am wondering if that is going to be super hard not to feel like I am getting quenched.
JeepChick 0 Posted April 18, 2010 It still is hard. I am conditioning myself to get over it. Whenever I drink after eating I get pretty bad heartburn until I make myself throw up the liquid. This has helped me with not drinking. Whenever I think of it I remember what it feels like leaning over the toilet. I am sadly not getting all my Water in. It's hard since I am a traveling teacher. I am getting better but after 3 months I still don't have it down. I used to drink Water ALL the time. I will get my own classroom next school year and that will help, I am sure.
