sunshyneqtie 73 Posted November 11, 2012 They say to sip all day. I am for sure hoping I can take in more than 1.5 oz at a time eventually.
rxtine 20 Posted November 11, 2012 I'm in the Seattle area too! I go to Northwest Weight Loss Surgery in Everett, Wa! They are absolutely amazing! I had the band about 3 years ago and not to much success, however I went in on Thursday and will be getting revision to sleeve with the same doctor! They have support groups that are amazing and fun! All the patients and staff are very supportive and understanding, my favorite is almost every person that works for them has personally had WLS! So they can relate and it's real. I am very nervous about the revision. I do have to wait 3 months as my insurance has requirements, and one of them is meeting with a nutritionist 4 times in 90 days, and then request approval for the surgery. I am hoping I will be getting the surgery in February!

sunshyneqtie 73 Posted December 12, 2012 I haven't seen a Doctor post op yet. I did see a GI doc before I left for TJ who gave me meds to prevent gallstones and did an upper GI to make sure my stomach was OK for surgery. I will go to my reg doc and let her know what labs I need to have watched. If she is not comfortable, I will just have to find someone else. I'm not too worried. LacieMC 136 Posted January 2, 2013 Hi All, Welp I am almost 1 yr post op (Jan 17th) and I hit my goal. The reason I am writing is to find out if anyone in the Lake Stevens, WA area would like to get together? I feel really silly putting this out there...it's kinda lame I know... It would be wonderful to get together and share a plate somewhere. I am 37 and very happily married. I work for Boeing. I have 3 kids (19, 18 and 10). I have been told I am normal and I love to laugh. I would just like to meet a friend that understands WLS and meet someone who understands meals of string cheese and having absolutely no alcohol tolorance. 1 lana1228 reacted to this
