i was gonna send you a copy of my appeal letter, i have anthem blue cross and was denied because they say it is experimental, i am so JEALOUS, i wish you all the best and hope for the same for myself, take care

Hi, I am wondering if you sent an appeal out on the Sleeve? I know that my Anthem Blue Cross of Ohio will not cover the Sleeve because "experimental"? I want the Sleeve, they will pay for the other procedures band and by-pass, but not the sleeve. I really wish they would pay for the sleeve. Just wonder if the appeal would do any good.

if you send me your email address i would be happy to send it, i didn't win my appeal with anthem blue cross, in CA we have a state office that we can appeal to and they have three independent doctors review the case and this is how most of us won in CA if the independent medical review votes in your favor the insurance has to pay for it, not sure each state is the same, but pretty soon they will all be covering it,
