Mary Gordon 3 Posted March 23, 2010 the couch is pretty comfortable and the food at the hotel is pretty good. as for the car, it's pretty safe to drive all the way to the hospital, they've got a good parking lot and it's close to the border. if you leave it at the border in calexico, then you will have to cross walking and take a taxi....just remember you have to do that after your surgery - unless there's someone who can take you from the border to the hospital. whichever way goodluck!!!:crying: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

FireFly 0 Posted March 27, 2010 My husband and I drove, parked in Calexico, walked across and Yolanda picked us up. Ernesto drove us back to the US on his way to San Diego and took us right TO OUR CAR in the parking lot. Nothing to it. We did use a taxi a few times while there. No problems with that.
