youknowit 11 Posted April 22, 2010 Hi all! I'm doing much better with my exercise "routine" as of now. I am MAKING myself go to the gym at least 3 days a week. I do 30-60 minutes on the eliptical, and I have taken on some weight training. That seems to be helping, and burns off a lot of stress. Hope all are doing great! Blue Sky 89 Posted March 26, 2015 I suggest finding a Fitness Bootcamp for 30 days. You pay... so that's motivation in itself. Secondly it's accountability and will give you the boost and jump start you need!
Rogofulm 2,440 Posted March 26, 2015 (edited) I use music as my motivator. We're all so busy these days, that there's rarely time to just stop and enjoy our favorite tunes. So every day I take 45 minutes to walk 2.5 miles and listen to my music nice and loud on headphones, then I work through lunch to make up the time. I look forward to it (most days) and it really helps me get off my butt. And it charges me up for the rest of the day. Once you do it for three days in a row, it gets much easier to keep it going. Good luck! Edited March 26, 2015 by Rogofulm
bikrchk 1,313 Posted March 26, 2015 I purchased a good quality exercise bike and have it in front of my big screen. I like to binge watch series on Netflix, so getting up to see the next episode of whatever I'm addicted to that week is helpful.
