kykaclady 0 Posted March 15, 2010 I was blessed by someone who heard that I was going to get sleeved soon (date unknown, still pending) they gave me 4 cases of EAS Myoplex RTD liquid nutrition. They have 25g Protein, 2.5g fat and 3 Fiber. They are 14 oz each and have 210 calories per bottle. They also have 23 carbs and 5g sugar. Are these okay to use to start getting used to liquid nutrition? I go to the seminar on March 27th and hopefully my surgery will be in April.
tbtroy78 0 Posted March 16, 2010 It depends on your current health and how much weight you are suppose to lose I have seen in many cases u need 70 grams of Protein and no more than 30-40 grams of carbs I think What u were blessed with has too many carbs
Stacy160 201 Posted March 16, 2010 EAS does make a low-carb Protein supplement as well, so you may be able to exchange those, as long as they're not expired or anything. Might be worth a try anyway!
kykaclady 0 Posted March 16, 2010 Thank you, I was not sure of them. I think I will drink at least 2 each day so that I can gt used to the Protein Drinks
Tiffykins 673 Posted March 16, 2010 Those probably taste better than low carb Protein drinks because of the carb count. At least that was my experience with protein supplements.< /span>
