LyndaRN 0 Posted March 15, 2010 Sorry for the delay Trish, I spent the day with my mom yesterday! I have never really had issues with reflux and since surgery I still have no signs of it. I hope you find what works for you! Good luck and so far I love my sleeve!!!!
trish4 3 Posted March 15, 2010 Thanks LyndaRN - so glad you are doing so well. What are you eating/drinking right now - just like 3-4 days out surgery correct? Are you an RN - if so - are you OK with 85% or so of your stomach being gone? (vs. the bypass that doesn't remove any of the stomach)? Thanks - I have all these questions/thoughts/etc.
LyndaRN 0 Posted March 15, 2010 Well today I have had a cup of SF Jello and a SF popscile and Water. I feel like I have cravings because my family is eating good stuff but I am happy when I step on the scale every morning and see the numbers drop! I am not worried with 80% of my stomach being gone. I think if I would have kept going I would have had a lot more health problems than just over weight. Yes I am a RN!

tiaras 0 Posted March 15, 2010 Make sure you are doing a walk every so often, it really helps. Well done you for coming home the same day - I cannot imagine doing that. Good luck xx
