amerigirl 0 Posted March 8, 2010 I was wondering what you guys are doing for energy or what you have done for energy. I'm 6 weeks out and I just have no energy. I am exercising. Walking 4 times a week. My babies take all my energy. Did you take something just to get you through your work out? Like 5 hour Energy? Gwyn

Some days wouldn't be as bad as others. I wasn't taking Iron & B12 and once I started, it seems to have really made a difference. Are you taking any Iron or B12? If not I'd suggest trying both of those. I own an antique store that I work at on the weekends, and for a while I was so tired and had no energy I was wondering if I could keep it up. MidwestGirl 8 Posted March 8, 2010 I agree on trying an Iron supplement if you can. I know I felt like my butt was dragging all the time because I wasn't able to get my iron supplement down without feeling nauseous. I switched to a chewable and now my energy level has gone WAY up! Hi tdriver, I think Iron is prescribed particularly for women, so that may be a part of it. I think Calcium may be the same way. :001_tongue:

amerigirl 0 Posted March 9, 2010 Mary, no I don't get enough sleep. I have a 4 month old baby. Last night I took my Iron pill and my baby slept all night for the first time. I actually got 8 hours of uninterupted sleep last night. Its been a long time since that happened. I feel like a completely different woman!!!

I had no idea I had it until the end of January. I can sleep for 8 hours and be as tired when I wake up as I was when I went to bed. I am doing my CPAP trial tomorrow night. I am hoping that when I have lost most of my extra weight, I will be able to wean off the machine. I used it briefly during my first sleep study and loved the extra oxygen. New babies are a challenge tho : ) Hopefully the Iron and baby sleeping all night will do the trick!
