KatySu 0 Posted March 7, 2010 So glad to hear that your surgery went well!:crying: I also have Fibromyalgia, and my doctor gave me the same advice. My surgery will be on April 13th. I am a little worried that surgery might cause me to have a "flare", but I am encouraged to hear how well you have done. Please continue to give updates on your recovery. Take care! BonitaChica 1 Posted March 7, 2010 Hi All, I've begun to experience sharp pains on the right side under my rib cage. It feels similar to what one would experience after running. Is this still the gas? Thanks!
mommaof4yoopers 3 Posted March 7, 2010 do you have your gallbladder still?
BonitaChica 1 Posted March 7, 2010 Still have my gallbladder and have never had any problems with it.
LAN2k 18 Posted March 7, 2010 Try to stretch your arms out above your head and also do walk as much as you can. If it's gas it should release. Hope you feel better shortly.
FireFly 0 Posted March 7, 2010 A heating pad may help with gas. Keep walking around a lot.
Lee 19 Posted March 7, 2010 Sounds like gas to me. Welcome to the Loser's Bench. I too opted to come home after one night. I was so much more comfortable here at home. My son came home from NY for days 4-6 with me. It was quite funny... the olympics were on TV and I took up passing gas as my olympic sport. It was great the day I won the gold medal! BonitaChica 1 Posted March 7, 2010 Istarted running a fever and my pulse spiked at 165 so I decided I better get checked out by the doc. Turns out that I have an intestinal c dif infection and am being admitted to the hospital for fluids and antibiotics. The sleeve site is in good shape but it is scary having an infection so close! FireFly 0 Posted March 7, 2010 Hugapug I'm sending you a BIG HUG! Get well soon. My daughter had c-dif after the birth of her baby. She couldn't breast feed because of the antibiotics.
