I am always curious about what everyone is eating so I thought I'd give a sample menu. This is what I ate yesterday.

I use Myfitnesspal.com to track my food. I was moved to pureed foods yesterday and I'm in heaven. Finally full after being really hungry for the last four days on full liquids.< /strong>

Here's what the format looks like in Myfitnesspal. My program calls for no Protein supplementation or snacking which is different than a lot of other plans. My surgery was Feb. 17th, so last Wednesday started my third week . I'm down 14.4 pounds since Surgery morning at Kaiser. Today my goal is to get in more Protein, closer to 60. I found it really easy to eat pureed yesterday. I've been getting in 64 oz of fluids or more since day 5. We're all so different on this journey. I try really hard not to compare myself to anyone else. My Nutritionist on Wednesday told me to expect my weight loss to slow down now that I'm on Pureed. I'm visualizing it really getting going now that I'll have more energy! No need to put negative thoughts in there. :(

      Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
      What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
