Keys Pirate 70 Posted February 22, 2010 I know this sounds like a total lush question but really, when can we safely drink a little bit again? I get the calories and all the ramifications but, I miss my occasional glass of red every now and then. I'm a month out on the 25th. Thanks! C
Tiffykins 673 Posted February 22, 2010 I wasn't cleared for any alcohol consumption until around 3.5-4 months. My surgeon warned me against red, dry wines. I didn't ask his reasoning, but I drink white Rieslings now without issue. Some surgeon stress no alcohol until close or at goal due to the wasted calories and dehydration factor of alcohol. tiaras 0 Posted March 15, 2010 My surgeon said a year. No messing about - a year! Each surgeon is different though xx
Keys Pirate 70 Posted March 15, 2010 LOL - yeah, I get it, thanks guys. The more I think about it, the more I see what a waste of calories any alcohol is... so, I'll happily wait till I reach goal, at least, maybe by my birthday at the end of July! Yay Crystal Light...!
