MidwestGirl 8 Posted February 19, 2010 I would trust the dr.'s scale. And for my first post-op appt., I took my new scale (it's lightweight) with to the office so I could see how different they were. Mine says .8 lighter than the dr.'s scale.
thinoneday 445 Posted February 19, 2010 u weigh ur self at the dr or sumwhere and then u weigh ur self sumwhere else and its like way higher n how do u know which one is right This is exactly WHY i have been preaching all over this forum not to weigh yourself all the time. . . only at the doctor. . . I threw out my scale the day i came home from surgery . . . and now only weigh at my doctor appts. . . do you know how shocked i was when at my first week and half out of surgery the doctor scale showed i lost 32lbs? Then at my 7 week out i had lost 53lbs? it is so great not being a slave of the scale . . . these home scales are such a farce . . . i only believe in the doctor scale. . . good luck to you. . . Dee 39 Posted February 19, 2010 Ok I am really thinking of tossing my scale, I have been gaining weight because I am so afraid of something getting stuck! Today I was "29 lbs to lose" that is only 4 lbs from when I started seriously thinking of the revision. It is 9 lbs up from my lowest weight with the band. I get my unfill 3/1. :thumbup1: So glad when this obsession is finally over!:thumbup1: On a positive note off the caffeine. Only drinking Decaf tea. Don't drink coffee (latte now and then-will get decaf) Ok I know chocolate has caffeine but not there yet! :001_smile: D.
