GreatDame 2 Posted May 27, 2006 MY band was put in yesterday! I flew into MX and straight to the hospital for me! everyone was so nice and the hospital so clean!! It was more like a hotel room! Anyway...Im a little sore and a lot gassy....but things seem to be fine. Im walking alot and trying to drink.... The weird thing is...my stomach keeps growling? PhotoNut 7 Posted May 27, 2006 *laughs* When I first saw myself in the mirror after surgery, I swear I looked 9 months preggers. It's the swelling and gas. Don't worry, it will go down soon. Grats on getting banded! Are you home already? Quick trip and sounds like a fairly easy recovery! I'm happy for ya. :grouphug: Keep sipping on your Water. It's important to keep yourself hydrated. I know my stomach made so many weird noises those first few days after my surgery, I think my family was a little afraid. And they should have been, because it was gas, lol. Or keep in mind that in a way you have 2 stomachs now and the gas has to pass between both of them before getting where it is going. I also had a lot of hunger pangs after my surgery.
