Bob_350lbs 105 Posted February 9, 2010 (edited) I am beginning to think this is a "get out of jail free" card. Did any see Steve Phillips on the Today show? He is an old pervert just like Clinton. Preying on the young admiring staffers. Gag..if he takes Vigra that ought to be discontinued right now. That certainly could be making matters worse, thinking with the wrong head again!!! Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted February 9, 2010 You have raised some good points. It's hard to imagine with all the addictions there are to choose from, that men would choose to cheat on their wives because they need that much sex.
thinoneday 445 Posted February 9, 2010 Gosh have they never heard of their hand! Hell what the wife has so does every other woman in the world. . . sorry just had to say that!
filodough 1 Posted February 9, 2010 Not making an excuse for any of these people, but if they are as addicted to sex as I am about food- I will not lay blame on them, and pray that they seek out the help they need. After all, I have heard a lot of people say- 'food addiction' is an excuse for staying fat. (and I know that is not true)
carolyn24seven 11 Posted February 11, 2010 its all about the EGO. Males need the ego boost sex gives them . you know, conquring hero and all that crap. So, I understand the sex addiction thing. (don't condone it) Here is what I do not understand. Why do they think they can get away with it? Any addiction is transparent. Look at the guilt we all have felt about our weight. They must be feeling guilt also, so why not get help? BEFORE you get caught. I mean crap, the behaviors are there, clear markers on the path to distruction. These guys don't even try toget straight until they get caught. John Edwards makes me sick. How can some one so "smart" be so stupid? I just expect smart people to do smart things I guess. That is what happens when you "expect" things~~~you get dis- appointed instead.
bkind 1 Posted February 11, 2010 Addiction is addiction no matter what form it comes in...sex, alcohol, drugs, gambling, food and lack of food...it's all the same only a different source. I wish I had gotten help with my addiction before it landed me to 237 pounds at my highest...but before that alcohol was my addiction...and I have hurt many people as a result of both addictions, but mainly myself. I would hope before anyone decides to judge others we think about our own addictons...after all we are all the same! God bless!
