FreeToBeMe 2 Posted February 5, 2010 Hi All, I have a recumbent bike at home and would like to use it to get my exercise in. My question is when post-op where you able to get on the bike without any discomfort? I am afraid to get on it once I have stitches and all. TIA, Pennie

Tiffykins 673 Posted February 7, 2010 The standard protocol for my surgeon's sleeve patients is absolutely zero working out other than walking (no more than 2-3 miles per day) for the first 4-6 weeks. Due to my complications, I was not released to work out, or walk more than 1 mile per day until my 3.5month post-op follow up.
