question about hunger

Recommended Posts

I don't know if this was discussed before or not, but I'm a month out and am HUNGRY! It's NOT in my head, I stop and listen if it's tummy hunger or head hunger, it's down right tummy hunger:angry:. . . wasn't this supposed to stop? wasn't this the reason i got the surgery? errrrrrr, so irratating. . .but i continue with my semi solid diet and drink my Water as usual, no cheating, no extra eating. . .anyone experience this annoying thing?

I'm right there with you!! I feel the hunger pains in my stomach still, I was soooo disappointed! Every couple of hours it usually starts, I'm hoping it's just because we're not getting enough in yet, and that it will go away soon!!

Protein.

It really does work. At 5 months I must admit I still don't feel *hungry* I just get a vague feeling I need something. Also you should be hungry. You are surviving on very little calories. The stomach is not the only organ that stimulates hunger. A drop in blood sugar can cause the brain to release a hormone to stimulate hunger also. Protein will whip that monster away. As your blood sugar rises from a shake.
