oakley 0 Posted February 2, 2010 Last Monday, the 25th of January, I got the call that my surgeon consult would be Friday the 29th. I started the diet that the dietician had given me right away. It was hard to follow when you had no idea when you might see the surgeon. Anyway, the surgeon was not very happy with me as I had gained from Oct to Jan. :scared0: They won't do the surgery in this program if you have a BMI over 60. Anyway, I am on the diet and am scheduled for surgery on February 23. Whew, I am excited and nervous but I am happy to have a date and get this process going! :confused1: I have lost 10 lbs (by my scales) now and will stay on this diet for 2 more weeks then I go to liquid only. There is NO way the surgeon is turning me away on Feb 23!

Brendasgonnalose 4 Posted February 3, 2010 (edited) Congrats on getting your date. You can do this for the next 3 week, think positive and your surgoen will be pleased and won't turn you down. This will be the biggest help to get to your goal !!! I was suprised at how just losing 22bls brought my BMI from 54 to 50. You can do it. Inside2Out 0 Posted February 4, 2010 Congrats on getting a date set! I haven't had mine yet...don't know when I'll be able to. We have to wait until I can take the time off from work (probably April or after). I wish you all the best with your pre-op diet. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!
