Rumbling

I am about a week post-op and have started having this rumbling in my stomach. It sounds like hunger rumbles but I am not sure. I don't really feel hunger. Honestly, I don't know what i feel because it is all so new to me. Have any of you that have been sleeved longer experienced this?

Residual gas rumbling around in there? That's really the only thing I could think. Plus, the stomach is probably trying to figure out what the heck we've done to it. It does go away.

That's good to know...I have the rumblings too and just have VSG on 1/27...I was hoping that they would eventually go away.

Yes, I had the same thing and it was so LOUD and often. I was so embarrassed at work. Anytime I was in a meeting the noises would start and everyone would pretend they didn't hear them until a client said something during a conference call!!! I asked my doctor about them and he said it is perfectly normal as our bodies are trying to adjust to the trauma and figure out where everything is now. I can say that it does just seem to disappear one day, at least about 95%.
