I am with you. I have to be there at 7:30, surgery at 9. I am having the same feelings that you are. I am 15 lbs down in a week, and I want it over with now, but I do worry about the pain. Good luck tomorrow.

Good luck to both of you!! I had very little pain. Most of it was gas but when I walked it seems to help out a lot. I also had a little gas in my back area so I used a heating pad and that made a huge difference.

I had my surgery on a Thursday and was back at the office on Monday. I only worked from 8:00am-2:00pm but on Tuesday I was back to normal.

You both will be in my thoughts and prayers. I can't wait to see you on the 'loser bench'.

ok i got the tickler to work :lol0: ONE more week to go and so ready I actually started the liquid diet last monday just to get use to it and so that there is no complications. My mom is not to happy about this but I hope she will feel better about it once she gets to see the results.

Best wishes for you tomorrow. Nerves are normal, and once you are into recovery, you'll wonder what you were worried about.

For me the gas pain was more frustrating than actual pain from the incision sites. Gas X strips, and a heating pad can help with gas discomfort.

Post an update when you get home and are feeling better.

Good luck you two!!!

You will do fine, and the pain is very low. You will both be fine, if it hurts tell the nurse! There is no reason to be in pain.

Good luck and happy losing!!!!

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.
