3 months post opp - now galbladder

I had my gallbladder removed when I was 19 back in 1983. It was done open because they didn't have laproscopic at the time. I have never missed it since it has been removed, and I don't miss the pain it was giving me prior to surgery. My only thought is see if he can do it laproscopically. The open procedure for me was extremely painful, carried a six week recovery time and the scar tissue that was created from it was so unbelievable that 2 years ago when I went to have the band put in they couldn't see through all the scar tissue...Get it removed, because it will get worse just make sure you are very well informed by your doc.
