Yay started losing again. Thirty pounds.....I knew I would have to exercise and it is working. So happy! I can fit into smaller jeans now and they are comfortable. I do have a question though. I haven't lost anything in the chest area, they just seem to be bigger. Is that common? In the past I would lose there first.....what's up with that?

First of all, congratulations on your weight loss.

As far as the upper area? Personally, I wouldn't be questioning it, just be grateful. I'm not a big girl up top as it is & I am worried about how small they may get over time.

My friend who was sleeved last February went from a 38D to a 32A after an 80 pound loss.

I told my husband that if that happened to me, we'd have to go on a search and rescue mission. Either sometime of cosmetic surgery or a lot of bra padding! He said that would be false advertising! :001_tongue:

Woot! Congrats on your losses! :001_tongue:

My friend who was sleeved last February went from a 38D to a 32A after an 80 pound loss.

Wow...I'm a 40DD. Wonder what I'll be after. Oh well, at least I won't have to buy bigger tops just so they fit over the girls! Haha.

SAME here! Only 1.2 pounds down, but I am officially out of the 250s!!!! WHEW!

I weighed 249.6 today. I will take it!

Now I hope I can keep it up!

Maybe just the stress held it on, because after my dr appt yesterday and my surgeon's encouragement I have felt thinner and better and just keep thinking positive about all the weight that is to come.

I have lost over 34 lbs in less than 2 months!

YAY

I think you should send me some photos of them and I'll help you keep track of them as you progress through your transformation.

First off many congrats on your loss thus far ! ! !

I went from a 40-42D/DD to a 36C. I lost all roundness, and volume. I call them my "deflated" fun bags at this point.

Some women just don't lose their boobs. I lost lots of inches around, and lots of back fat. I'm definitely getting new ones after baby in a couple of years.

Enjoy yours while they last, maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones ! ! !

hahaha, Tiff your funny! In 2001 I had a major breast reduction the girls were huge, I wore a 58FF bra (custom made) they removed 14lbs off one and 12lbs off the other. . .now i wear a 42DD very comfortably, however, since the surgery I've lost a bit and noticed that the 42DD is very loose (literally) I can imagine I'll end up with biscuits for boobs, but that is ok with me. . . i've never been a fan of boobs. . .

i have to agree with tiff. my boobs and butt are both deflating. i don't like the boob part. want the butt to disappear for good. but would love it if the boobs would stay put and not look like a deflated tire..

Just remember band size proportional to bust size is how you calculate cup size.

The underwire in a 34D is the same size wire as a 36C which is the same as 38B, etc.

I started out at a 44DD dropped down to a 34H and now am sitting at a 34F. My band size has gone down faster than my bust and therefore my cup size went UP but the girls are WAY SMALLER. The wire in my 34F is the same size wire as a 38D or 40C or 42B. I too thought they were getting bigger, but it was just because my rib cage was losing the fat faster.

I don't have any boobs left. It's ridiculous. I would never spend the money on a boob job, but I definitely have small tube socks for boobs.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
