Tummy Tuck needed?

Recommended Posts

Okay people bear with me, I do have alot of questions and this is my 3rd thread in the last 20 min lol.

But, I was wondering...I know that I will have excess skin after surgery and would want a Tummy Tuck eventually. However, everyone says that you need to do it after you have kids..which makes sense..but I dont see myself having kids anytime soon. I don't even have a bf...and I'm still young (20 yrs old) so would it be possible to have a tummy tuck about a year after my surgery and then maybe 7 years later have a child? I don't want a flabby stomach the years that I'm dating.

I'm not sure anyone can relate to me. Most of you are all married and have children, but I am in the dating age. And when you first meet someone you don't really want to blurt out that you had weight loss surgery but after time I wouldn't mind telling that person. (In my opinion) but I know that things lead up to other things...which lead to others...and eventually things happen. I think I would be somewhat embarrased of my naked body being that I'd be dating and not already married.

any advice? Thanks

I'm kind of torn on the Tummy Tuck pre-baby. I have one friend that had one, had a baby and had zero issues regaining her pretty flat tummy. Then I have a cousin who had a TT around your age, and had 2 children between the ages of 25 and 29, and her tummy tuck is wrecked. They both delivered naturally.

I am married, and have 1 child and believe me I don't love my little tummy roll, but I'll trade it over the excessive fat rolls, and back fat I had pre-op. I was more self-conscious about my huge roundness, and fat rolls that literally got in the way during sex. Now, it's completely different. I asked my husband, and he said " he doesn't worry about that stuff, it's more than the physical, it's just about us." I was more embarassed of how I looked being so fat.

I was fat when I met my husband, and he loved me in my all my fat glory. He loves me the same in my size 10 with excess skin, and saggy boobs.

If you get to the stage in a dating relationship where intimacy comes into play, I would say that man should love you for exactly who and how you are, and not that you may have a little tummy roll.

All the recommendations I've seen regarding plastics is to wait at least 1 year after you reach your goal weight to have any plastic surgery.

A lot of skin will reabsorb in that year after reaching goal especially if you're working out, toning, and getting in plenty of Water.

You will learn that your insurance will cover a removal of extra skin (NOT A TUMMY TUCK) so keep that in mind for now. Later on after you reach goal and keep there for at least a year then worry about it.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
